The Microsoft Visual Studio Scrum 1.0 process template is relatively new, and natively supports the Scrum framework concepts and assets. This presentation will dive into how the template is used on a real-life project including process customizations, standards adopted by the Team, helpful custom queries, and additional tools to assist with Sprint Planning and Scrums. We will also venture into how the Scrum template is being used to transition a long-standing waterfall team to the world of Scrum.
Dave Schueck is a Principal Consultant with Intertech whose 20 year career has spanned many opportunities and technologies, from real-time systems to mainframe to desktop and web applications. Dave has worked in a variety of industries and performed many roles including consultant, architect, software engineer, mentor, supervisor, project manager, and Scrum Master. One of Dave's recent projects has been recognized by National and International organizations for its excellence in technology. Dave holds a Masters Degree in Software Design and Development from the University of St. Thomas. When he isn't delivering enterprise-class applications for customers, you'll probably find Dave on the water or in the fields and woods.
